Our representative work, Inside Out: Holding the Child Within — From Drop+Kiss…+, is a nonfiction book based on twenty years of records written by a person who received psychological counseling.
The materials were edited by Masaya Shikishima together with clinical records, with ethical care given to the publication process. The book was supervised by Hiroyuki Uchida, Ph.D., Director of Ginan Counseling Room and former Associate Professor at Osaka University.
Although the book can be read as a general book related to psychology, it has also received recommendations from a wide range of professionals, including Rika Kayama, a psychiatrist; Osamu Takeuchi, Professor at Sophia University and Director of the Institute of Grief Care; and Motoko Arita, a supervisor at Yokohama Inochi no Denwa.
For this reason, the book is intended to be read not only by specialists, but also by general readers who are interested in psychological experience, loss, care, and the meaning of life.
