andnp Corp. (Fuchu, Tokyo) announces that its publication,
Inside Out: Healing the Inner Child – From “Drop+Kiss…+” (Vol. 1 & 2),
was exhibited and made available at the venue of the 43rd Annual Conference of the Japanese Association for Group Psychotherapy, held on March 21–22, 2026, at Keio University (Mita Campus), Tokyo.
The conference, organized by the Japanese Association for Group Psychotherapy, is a professional academic gathering focused on the practice and study of group-based psychotherapy. The theme of the 43rd conference was “Group and the Self,” exploring the relationship between individuals and groups, and examining how the self can be understood within interpersonal dynamics.
This book is a nonfiction work based on the personal diaries of author Nana Hinase, written over a period of 20 years beginning at the age of 16. Drawing on primary materials totaling approximately 10 million characters of diary entries and over 700 pages of clinical records, the book explores the theme of the inner child, tracing a long-term journey through psychotherapy, loss, recovery, and the search for meaning in life.
While portraying deeply personal inner experiences, the work also serves as a record of a long-term therapeutic process, offering insights relevant to practitioners and researchers in clinical psychology and interpersonal support.
Presenting the book at a professional academic conference dedicated to group psychotherapy provided an opportunity to connect its themes with ongoing discussions in the fields of psychotherapy, human development, and recovery.
